National election set for December 18 PROBE report comes true
As announced by Chief Advisor Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed, the national election is to be held on December 18 this year. Exactly two months and 10 days before the Chief Advisor's announcement, PROBE News Magazine stated in its cover story, Transitional Government for Constitutional Reforms, that the national election would be held on December 18, 2008. The Chief Advisor's announcement has confirmed the truth in PROBE's statement. The first paragraph of the cover story Transitional Government for Constitutional Reforms by Anwar Parvez Halim [Vol. 7, Issue 03, July 11-17, 2008] reads: "If all things go according to government plan, then the national elections are to be held in December this year. The parliamentary polls probably are slated for December 18..."
